Tesuque Glass Works

David Shanfeld is one of the eclectic team that makes up Tesuque Glass Works. Dave is precisely accurate with his blown and cast glass.

Charlie is the owner of TGW, glass blower, caster, problem solver, and he sets the passe for the studio.

Dave is the how to (do it correctly) guy for the wax room.

Both Charlie and Dave use the lost wax casting method.

'Pescador'
The rings on the ends of the 'Pescador' are solid glass buily into the piece during the wax making process. When the piece comes out of the investment the rings are all ready part of the piece.

Charlie Miner at SOFA New York st year, where he sold out! This year he is going to SOFA Chicago with the Heller Gallery. This is the ShapeShifter, one of Charlie's news castings. The jade quality of the glass is as spectacular as the shape and detail of these castings.
