Tesuque Glass Works

The hot shop does not shut down. On holidays the artists can come in blow and work on their own projects. The only requirement is that the front door is open to the public.

The shop may look old, we use all the equiptment 365 days a year. Simplisity and functionality may not look pretty, our work makes up for that.

We use cherry, or, apple wood paddles. These woods do not burn as quickly as others. Soaking the paddles in buckets of water makes them last even longer.

Bear the resident obstacle is coming in to lye in the middle of the gallery, whizzing past Kay while blowing.

Here is the back of Terry Baker blowing glass into a mold. Maybe he is making a pumpkin.
